Yin Yoga, is a style of yoga popularized by Paul Grilley and Sarah Powers, encompasses long held, static stresses of the deep corrective tissues allowing them to be remodeled over time. This practice may include props and includes holding seated postures 3-5 minutes to mindfully reduce stress and discomfort in the body. The main intention if Yin Yoga is to maintain or improve the current state of health to optimal levels.
GENTLE FLOW & PRANAYAMA:
Gentle flow & Pranayama is great for beginners or those searching for the therapeutic benefits of yoga. This soothing gentle practice focuses on moving slowly into basic yoga poses while using the breath as a tool to remain present and mindful. The slower pace of class allows you to enjoy each pose fully. Expect lots of stretching and lengthening with relaxation with deep grounding and breathing exercises.
